At our October meeting local photographer, Nick Waller, gave a fascinating presentation on astrophotography. Nick also brought along a collection of his specialist kit for members to examine. Photos from the evening can be found under “Latest images and meeting images”.

The October competition on the theme of “In flight” was won by Rick Farrar. Copies of Rick’s image and those placed in second and third positions can be viewed under “Monthly competitions”

At our next meeting on 11th November, we shall be holding a practical session to explore which camera modes suit various picture taking situations.

As always, prospective new members will be welcome. Your first meeting is completely without charge.
